“Too diverse for one price” is what University City is saying about their back by popular demand week of Dining Days.
If you are not familiar with the University City boundaries, they include 29th Street and the Schuylkill River on the east, on the west, 50th Street, on the north, Spring Garden Street (to 40th Street), Powelton Avenue (to 44th Street), and Market Street, and on the south, Civic Center Boulevard, University Avenue and Woodland Avenue.
University City Dining Days is taking place in various restaurants within these borders the week of July 23 through 30.
Like Restaurant Week—which happens twice a year in Philadelphia—University City is hosting its own version of the discounted week of restaurant dining.
The difference between the two is the pricing and variety. The University City Dining Days program is less expensive, but offers fewer restaurants.
The prix-fixe menus clock in at $15, $25 and $30 and there is a list of different restaurants for each food genre.
For these great prices you can receive three courses—starter, entrée and dessert. Whether you pick a $15 restaurant or a $30 restaurant, you receive the same number of courses and equal quality food.
This allows you to try restaurants that normally would be more expensive for just one, set price.
Come out and enjoy these restaurants for this one-week special; be sure to make your reservations well in advance.
