Or maybe you just want to sit back with nice music? The World Cafe Live's Philly Rising Open Stage happens every Monday (unless otherwise noted). Performers should get there by 6:30 to sign up--the music begins at 7:30. Each performer gets 2 songs and competes to win. Winners are brought back at the end of the month for another open mic showdown...the prizes are just as cool as the talent, so what are you waiting for?
