Art/Exhibit
This exhibit features the work of the Fabric Workshop and Museum's five recent artists-in-residence who represent America's cross-section in their geographic diversity: Robert Chambers of Miami, Florida, Tommy Joseph of Sitka, Alaska, Rubén Ortiz-Torres of Los Angeles, California, Bill Smith of O'Fallon, Illinois and Marie Watt of Portland, Oregon. The purpose of the exhibit is to demonstrate each artist's process of creating their work and will feature brief documentaries in which the artists comment on their methods and the challenge of using new materials according to FWM's mission.
