FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK

FOR THE RECORD: Are you sure it's not summer?

So it's the beginning of October— a time when most are gearing up for the Halloween festivities and deciding on what kind of costume they should wear. They're getting ready for spooky Halloween attractions, like haunted houses and hayrides.

Yet, is it me or does it feel like summer? The weather is in the high 80s today, as well as the rest of the weekend, and that in itself is just a bit scary. Where's the cool fall weather? It's really kind of weird to realize that people are running their air conditioners in October.

In other news, the Phillies will be out in Colorado. After two losses, they're going to need to win the next three to move on. Let's go Phillies!
